The Meadow: Adventure Book expansion invites you to hike through serene meadows toward a mystical cave at the journey’s end. 

During six picturesque hikes, each played on an interactive book board, you will be rewarded for your unique perspective on the natural world. As you explore the adventure book, you will gather new experiences and expand your meadow in exciting and creative ways. 

What does the expansion introduce? 

The Meadow: Adventure Book expansion consists of six hikes: 

1. Beginning – Start your adventure by observing the changing weather as you explore the surroundings. 
2. Bridges – Cross the stream that separates your meadow and discover the wildlife on both sides. 
3. Windmills – Stroll through the tulip valley and admire the brick and wooden windmills standing tall among the colorful fields of blooming flowers. 
4. Balloons – Take to the skies and steer a hot-air balloon to observe wildlife from above, but be mindful of the wind! 
5. Observation Tower – Climb high to capture breathtaking views of flora and fauna using your binoculars. 
6. The Cave – Venture underground to uncover mysterious animals and plants, creating an unforgettable finale to your journey. 

Each page of the adventure book features a different hike, introducing new gameplay mechanics or changing the point scoring from the base game. The hikes may be played individually or in the hiking mode. 

What is Meadow? 

In Meadow, players are wanderers observing nature. Equipped with a map, they wander a picturesque landscape, searching for inspiration among the breathtaking views. They are led by their passion for discovering the mysteries of nature, and by their desire to become acclaimed as the most skilled observer. The title will be won by the person who earns the most points from observing types of animals, plants, and landscapes, as well as from souvenirs gathered during their hikes. The competition continues at the campfire, where players race to fulfill their adventure’s goals.
